Day 305, December 24, Theyyam dancer
Theyyam (Malayalam: തെയ്യം) or Theyyattam or Thira is a popular Hindu ritual form of worship of North Malabar in Kerala state, India, predominant in the Kolathunadu area (consisting of present-day Kasargod, Kannur Districts, Mananthavady Taluk of Wayanad and Vadakara & Koyilandy Taluks of Kozhikode of Kerala state. As a living cult with several thousand-year-old traditions, rituals and customs, it embraces almost all the castes and classes of the Hindu religion in this region. The performers of Theyyam belong to the indigenous tribal community, and have an important position in Theyyam. This is unique, since only in Kerala, do both the upper-caste Brahmins and lower-caste tribals share an important position in a major form of worship. The term Theyyam is a corrupt form of Devam or God. People of these districts consider Theyyam itself as a God and they seek blessings from this Theyyam. A similar custom is followed in the Tulu Nadu region of neighbouring Karnataka known as Bhuta Kola

Day 281, November 30, Good girl
She is a very good girl today, she had an exam in a musical school today (piano) and got a highest possible score - 5. Parents are very satisfied and she too.
Она сегодня очень хорошая девочка! У нее был екзамен по фортепиано в музыкальной школе и она получила пятерку. Родители очень довольны и она тоже :-)
Day 279, November 28, Evening shopping
That was a late evening when daughter discovered that she urgently needs a new exercise book for her school for tomorrow. So we drove to a nearest mall to find one, she took her sister with her for a company. And we were back not only with couple of exercise books but also with couple of DVD for kids and two bars of chocolate.
Старшая дочь вечеро вспомнила, что ей срочно нужна новая тетрадка к завтрашнему уроку в школе. Поехали в ближайший супермаркет. Она взяла ствою сестру за компанию. Вернулись с тетрадками, мультиками и шоколадом :-)

It's a little bit shaky shot, this is visible. Exposure is only 1/6 sec. Need to be there someday with a tripod.
Кадр получился с шевеленкой, выдержка не очень короткая, всего 1/6 секунды. Надо будет как нибудь сюда приехать со штативом.

Вообще то я фотографировал ее сестру, а Ксюша проходила мимо и случайно попала в кадр, и так же и фокус получился случайным, на ее завитушке. Но мне как то теперь нравится этот снимок, и я решил его не удалять. :-)

Day 274, November 23, Two phones
I decided to change my mobile right before my birthday, so when my dear wife asked me what I want for my birthday, I have told her that I want a new mobile phone. She asked about a model and my imagination let me down, I told her that I want the same phone she has. So, it could look stupid, but now we have similar phones, but different colors :-)

These things actually means morning for me. Mornings start with that. I fiddle with all these things and with my daughters hair, getting them ready for a school and kindergarten.
